Membership Dues and Accreditation Costs

Membership Remuneration for New Institutional Members

The annual membership period is July 1 – June 30 of each year. The remuneration for the 2015-2016 membership year is 3,000 € (1,500 € membership dues plus 1,500 € for administration costs). For new members of the ATHEA, the remuneration for 2015-2016 is prorated according to the date of joining as follows:

     July 1 – September 30: 3,000 €

     October 1 – December 31: 2,500 €

     January 1 – March 31: 1,500 €

     April – June 30: 1,000 €

Accreditation Costs

Institutional Members who wish to seek accreditation must first become a Candidate for Accreditation and then if the candidate is awarded accreditation by the THEA Board of Commissioners, the Candidate Member becomes an Accredited Member and designated appropriately. Costs for candidacy and accreditation are as follows:

     Application to become a Candidate: 5,000 € (paid with the submission of the member’s Candidacy Application)

     Accreditation: 10,000 € (paid with the submission of the Candidate’s Self-Evaluation)

     Annual Accreditation Maintenance: 2,000 € (paid each year starting the year after accreditation is granted)

Travel expenses for the site visit team are to be covered by the Institutional Member. 

Affiliated Institution

The annual dues for an Affiliated Institution are 1,500 € per year, with prorated quarterly adjustments as follows.

    July 1 – September 30: 1,500 €

    October 1 – December 31: 1,000 €

    January 1 – March 31: 750 €

    April – June 30: 500 €
